Update

THE FOLLOWING was SUPPOSED to be our 7 month update... but since our strapping young lad is pushing 8.5 months... I will give you that info

"Well, our beautiful bouncing boy is 7 whole months old now. Here all the new milestones: - He's 18 pounds -He has 2 teeth -He's crawling/ trying to walk. He pushes the diaper box and laundry hamper around. He is talking all sorts of crazy garble which includes sounds that vaguely resemble da-da (this is the more common one) :( and mummum."

NOW...
-he's about 8.5 Months -he has nearly 5 teeth -is standing solo for 2-7 seconds at a time -Says (much to my dismay ;) "dadadadadadaaaadadaa!!" with a lot of gusto at times! He is growing so big and cute. I can't wait to see what he does at Christmas. He is going to go gaga (not like the lady) for all the boxes and paper. We have a lot of fun events coming up... I still need to put Halloween pics on here as well. Will do so asap... I hope! That's all for now... just a quick update.

P.S. All these pictures are from the 7 month posting. I will have to put new ones that are more recent on here later. I have to say he has A LOT more hair now... or it's darker... one or the other. Decide when I post them.

New York, New York

Well, over the weekend we went up to NY to visit with our family for Nanny's birthday and the Anniversary of Poppy's death. It was nice to see everyone and it was comforting to be together. It's definitely a party he would have been in attendance at. We all missed you Poppy! <3

Massive Summer Update

Hello All!

I know it has been a long while since I put anything on here. I thought that I would go ahead and update you all on what my little sweetheart has been doing lately. This is in no particular order.

He's started eating baby food:
Apples,
Bananas,
Green Beans,
Pears,
Squash,
& Carrots- which don't seem to agree with him

He's one the verge of really crawling. He can stand with help and sit alone with almost no help. He LOVES sitting up on his own. He's super playful. He loves being in his jumper and laughs a lot, especially at my Mom and Donald.

We've been to the library a lot this summer. Mr. Jasper is snoozing in those pics. It was kinda warm in there and he just nodded right off. Of course he went postal on me when he woke up and could have woke the dead! But luckily we were in a library so, he just disturbed all the snobby readers.

He's getting so big.

Donald and I also experimented with making our own ice cream. It was pretty successful. It was Rose flavored. Donald got some Rose extract for his birthday.

Jasper is also a really good boy in the bath. He's big enough that we were able to take the sponge insert out of the bathtub. It was a sad, sad day.

He's picked up a lot of personality. He decided he wanted to drink his bedtime bottle with one leg on and one leg off me and would fuss until I let him get in that position. Then when he got too tired to fight me, I sat him up properly.

Donald had a birthday (which was actually before Fourth of July but... I threw the pics in with this update). We are at Red Robin in these pics where it is just me and just him.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the update. I will try and do this a little more often. I can't seem to find my camera again. I guess it's hiding. I may have more pics from that to add later. :)

hello everyone!

well, our baby celebrated the birth of our nation for the first time and LOVED the fireworks. These are some of the pics that i snapped before and donald snapped while we were watching....

These are the best fireworks that i have ever seen in my entire life. they were a 45 min finale.... the entire show was GREAT!!

The other day when we were at my mom's house, my mom aka GiGi got the baby laughing soooo hard he was sounding like a real big boy... He also had on the cutest pair of shorts and hat!!

4 Month Update

Jasper is now:
12 lbs 4 oz
23 1/4 inches

BIG BOY!!!
